The perfect start to your dinner party in all seasons! Remove the booze for a heavenly mocktail.
- Step 1: Grind 1 tablespoon Lavender Sage salt or Rosemary Sage salt to a fine grain and put on a plate. Run a cut lemon around the edge of 4 rocks glasses and roll each glass edge in the salt.
- Step 2: In a cocktail shaker, add 8 oz. gin or vodka + 3-4 oz. Lavender Sage Simple Syrup, 3-4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice + 4-5 ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Step 3: Fill salted glasses with fresh ice and strain the cocktail evenly into the 4 glasses.
- Step 4: Garnish each glass with a sage leaf, lemon slice, a spring of rosemary &/or a few lavender blossoms. Enjoy!
Simple Syrup: Bring 1/2 c water + 1/2 c sugar boil in saucepan. Add 8 fresh sage leaves &/or 1/4 c lavender flowers &/or 5 sprigs rosemary. Turn off heat, let sit for 1 hour, then strain and chill.
